The European Energy Communities Facility supports energy communities across 31 European countries through two calls for proposals. Our second call for proposals will remain open until 5 July 2026. Emerging energy communities the 27 EU countries, Iceland, Moldova, North Macedonia and Ukraine will be able to apply for a lump sum grant of €45,000 to develop a business plan.

Beneficiaries will receive tailored, hands-on training and lump sum grants to develop a strong business plan, turning their energy project into reality.
