David Blažek holds a degree in International Relations and Energy Security from Masaryk University. Prior to joining Frank, he worked full-time in business across a variety of disciplines, from finance to catering. At Frank Bold, he is part of the Responsible Energy team, where he works on project and event coordination, lobbying, and networking, particularly in the areas of renewable energy and community energy promotion.

About Unie Komunitní Energetiky (UKEN)

Unie Komunitní Energetiky (UKEN) is the national federation for energy communities in the Czech Republic. UKEN wants to 1) promote a transparent and supportive legislative environment for energy communities and empower citizens and communities to become full-fledged participants in tomorrow’s energy market; 2) enhance public support and enabling frameworks; and 3) scale up and replicate community energy projects by means of sharing best practices. UKEN’s activities are centred around national representation, advocacy and legal work.
