Philippe Awouters is the Managing Director of the cooperative SeaCoop, a partnership of 34 Belgian Renewable Energy Communities, investing in offshore renewable energy. Philippe founded Vlaskracht as a REC in 2018 and SeaCoop in 2022 and coordinates the REScoop.BE activities.

About REScoop.be

REScoop.be is the national federation of citizen energy cooperatives in Belgium. The association is made up of two regional branches, representing all citizen energy cooperatives operating in Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels. Through REScoop.be these energy cooperatives make their voices heard at the federal level which is particularly relevant in the context of offshore wind energy. REScoop.be was a project partner in 6 former EU projects under the former Intelligent Energy Europe (REScoop 20-20-20) and Horizon 2020 programme (PV Financing).
