Impact in the community
Cooperation Heerlen Duurzaam is a cooperative association (in Dutch, Coöperatie U.A.) governed according to Dutch cooperative law. In a cooperation the members of the cooperation control the board. For specific projects (e.g., solar PV projects, or energy saving campaigns), Heerlen Duurzaam sets up project teams consisting of Board members, cooperative members and external experts where needed. These teams prepare proposals, execute projects and report progress back to the Board after approval by the members.
