A business plan to…
This business plan explores the integration of electric vehicle (EV) batteries into energy communities as decentralized storage assets. EV batteries represent a largely untapped flexibility potential that can enhance grid stability, increase self-consumption, and enable new value streams. The project will identify technically feasible and economically viable use cases, assess regulatory and market conditions, and implement initial pilot projects. Furthermore, it will develop concepts for technical integration, operation, and aggregation of EV batteries within energy communities. The plan also evaluates economic benefits, as well as scalable approaches for deployment, including logistics, member acquisition, and go-to-market strategies.
Impact in the community
The integration of EV batteries into energy communities will increase local energy independence, reduce peak loads, and improve grid stability. Members benefit from higher self-consumption and lower energy costs. Additionally, the approach strengthens community participation, enables new revenue streams, and supports the transition to a more flexible and renewable-based energy system. It also promotes efficient use of existing resources and reduces the need for additional stationary storage investments.
