A business plan to…
The vision of the Raszyn Energy Cooperative’s business plan is to create an inclusive, stable, and socially accepted energy community that supports the local energy transition. The business plan will define a realistic and feasible pathway for developing an integrated energy system based on renewable energy sources—particularly photovoltaics and a biogas plant operating in high-efficiency cogeneration—using local energy balancing and a democratic governance model. The document will set out the organisational, technical, and financial framework for the cooperative’s operation and provide a basis for investment decisions and the mobilisation of funding for the development of local energy infrastructure.
"Innovation in our project lies in integrating different renewable energy sources—particularly photovoltaic installations and a biogas plant in high-efficiency cogeneration—within a single cooperative system with local energy balancing among members. The ENERCOM grant enables us to develop a solid business plan and a model that can be replicated in other municipalities."
Aleksandra Kowalska - President of the Management Board
Impact in the community
The project will strengthen the energy resilience of the municipality and increase access to clean energy for the local community. Through the cooperative model, it will enable broad participation of the local government, public institutions, local businesses, and residents in the development of the local energy system. The initiative will support energy awareness, foster local cooperation, and ensure a fair distribution of economic, environmental, and social benefits.
