The business plan sets out a roadmap for developing a locally governed energy community in Tokod that combines renewable energy generation, storage and clean mobility solutions to reduce emissions, increase energy independence, and create long-term environmental, social and economic value for the wider community.

Impact in the community

The initiative is expected to reduce local carbon emissions through renewable energy generation, improve energy resilience and cost stability, and support the transition to electric mobility. Beyond environmental benefits, it will strengthen community participation in energy decision-making, create local learning opportunities, and stimulate regional economic activity through partnerships and local service demand.
