At the European Energy Communities Facility, we aim to help you develop a solid and impactful business plan for your energy community - and successfully implement it. Our self-paced online training programme is designed specifically for energy community practitioners who want to develop robust business plans that support long-term sustainability and growth. Whether you are refining an existing plan or creating one from scratch, this programme provides practical tools, real-world examples, and structured guidance to help you succeed.

Course structure
The programme is organised into five modules covering the essential components of business plan development:
- Understanding your community's foundation
- Governance and business models
- Project planning and implementation
- Strategy and growth
- Compliance and sustainability
Programme duration: Self-paced (recommended 4-8 weeks). The total programme consists of around 11-12 hours of learning.
Language: English with automatic translation support.

Information for ENERCOM Facility beneficiaries
At least one person of the energy community must follow the learning programme, but there is no limit on the number of participants per organisation.
Upon successfully completing all modules, you will receive a certificate of completion from the ENERCOM capacity building programme.
This certificate is mandatory when uploading your business plan to the application platform. The certificate demonstrates that your business plan has been developed using the structured methodology and best practices covered in this training programme.
