Angela Holzmann is a senior expert and project manager at the Austrian Energy Agency. Her core competencies lie in the topics of energy communities, structured analysis of energy-related data, European electricity market and the analysis of consumer behaviour. She is responsible for the management of international and national projects related to renewable energy and energy efficiency. Her doctoral studies at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences enabled her to gain experience in the scientific field (publications in the journals Energy Policy and Energy and Buildings). As part of her work at the Austrian Energy Agency, she has been responsible for the coordination of the H2020 project SHAREs for the last two years.

With a multidisciplinary team of 110 experts, the Austrian Energy Agency ensures impactful contributions to energy policy and technological advancements, strengthening its position as a leader in the European energy sector.
