Circular Economy - VšĮ “Žiedinė ekonomika”

Domantas Tracevičius spent more than 10 years in circular economy and renewable energy advocacy, 19 education and project management. During his professional career, he has gained expertise in circular economy and renewable energy policies as well as in managing large scale capacity-building and technical assistance projects. He would be responsible for coordinating activities and training national experts.
About Circular Economy - VšĮ “Žiedinė ekonomika”
The NGO “Žiedine ekonomika” – “Circular Economy” - has been established in 2016 to promote the Lithuanian transition towards a carbon neutral and circular economy. The organsiation specialises in advocacy (participation in legislative processes on ministerial and parliament level), implementing pilots and showcasing best practises. Notably, the employees of the organisation established an association for joint RES production which qualified as the fir REC in Lithuania. Beside that, ZE also doing a lot of educational and capacity building activities at various levels. In addition to that, the organsiation runs a reuse location and helps people from vulnerable social groups to get new skills and find a job. “Žiedinė ekonomika” is the only organization in Lithuania working on the promotion of the REC and CEC concept and will help to establish renewable energy communities. It can and will give advice on all aspects and levels.
