Energie Samen
As financing coordinator, Karlijn Stokkers is responsible for a smooth functioning of the two development funds. Her role includes guiding initiatives through the loan application process to ensure they understand the requirements and can effectively present their proposals. She provides support in preparing necessary documentation, refining project goals, and addressing any questions or concerns that may arise during the application process. Additionally, she plays a part in monitoring the projects through the development phase until they reach financial close, ensuring that all milestones are met and that initiatives remain aligned with funding objectives.
About Energie Samen
Energie Samen acts as the national federation of energy communities in the Netherlands. The network is made up of 729 initiatives including energy cooperatives, foundations and associations who jointly represent over 120.000 21 local citizens. Energie Samen represents their interests at the national level and aims for a level playing field in which community energy initiatives can thrive and prosper. Energie Samen has over 50 staff members of which a considerable part is involved in capacity building, community engagement, knowledge sharing, business development and innovative financing solutions. Energie Samen holds a seat on the board of REScoop.eu and has many years of experience in European projects under the Horizon 2020 programme (SCCALE 203050, FLEXCoop, ACCEPT) and Life (ACCE). Furthermore, Energie Samen provides relevant services to its members too.
