Viktoriia Vostriakova (Phd.) is a co-founder and head of the NGO Sustainable Development Agency SYNERGY: over 16 years of administrative and academic experience in socio-ecological and sustainable development fields. Viktoriia has completed specialized training programs and become a Certified Expert in Climate Finance and Renewable Energy Sources (Frankfurt School of Finance & Management gGmbH) and gained Galileo Master Certificate (GMC) Renewable Energy Consultant Expert (The Renewable Energy Institute, UK), further enhancing her expertise in sustainable energy and climate finance. During 2022-2024, she was a project coordinator for all projects of NGO SDA SYNERGY and holder of the Personal Fellowship project "Building Bioeconomy for Ukraine" as a Scholarship Program for Civil Society Leaders of the Eastern Partnership countries funded by the EU. Viktoriia has significant experience in providing capacity-building services for energy communities. She led projects that support the democratization of renewable energy and energy community development in Ukraine. She managed training and consultancy services for municipalities and local communities, fostering the development of resilient energy communities in Ukraine.

The NGO "Sustainable Development Agency SYNERGY" was established in June 2021 by academics and researchers from various universities, united by a commitment to sustainable development. Its mission is to promote sustainability in Ukraine by developing governance mechanisms and fostering environmentally, economically, and 28 socially resilient communities. The organization aims to build an educated and active society capable of implementing innovative solutions for Ukraine's sustainable future.
