Banque Alternative Suisse

The independent association ‘Innovation Fund’, based in Langenbruck (BL), was founded in 1996 by the Banque Alternative Suisse (BAS). BAS makes its resources and infrastructure available and makes a substantial annual contribution from its profits in the form of a donation. Many shareholders forgo their dividends in favour of the Innovation Fund, as they share our conviction that the sustainable transformation of our economy and society requires new and compelling ideas. The Innovation Fund also maintains contacts with other donors. Its aim is to be able to support an even greater number of exciting initiatives submitted to it in the future.

Examples of projects supported by the fund:
- Companies that manufacture in an environmentally friendly way or that specialise in sustainable product innovation
- Companies that have implemented socio-ecological management concepts or business models
- Companies in the social and solidarity economy
- Businesses whose business model is explicitly focused on social inclusion
- Projects led by people who possess entrepreneurial skills and a sense of personal responsibility, but have limited capital
- Projects that help to reduce poverty and economic inequality in developing countries

1. Fill in the investment application form on the website 
2. Based on your application, the fund will carry out an initial review of your project. 
3. Following these initial clarifications, the fund will contact you. 
4. If the outcome is positive, the fund will ask you to submit a comprehensive concept or business plan for an in-depth analysis of your project.
