Description of the fund
The call supports projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and increasing the use of renewable energy sources (RES) in public buildings. Funding is provided as a non‑repayable financial contribution to reduce energy consumption, modernize public infrastructure, and contribute to climate objectives.
The call allocates funding across different territorial categories and financing sources. Projects may receive up to 100% support, depending on the rules of the financing strategy and climate‑related criteria.
Application process & requirements
Eligible applicants include public sector entities such as municipalities, regions, and organizations established by public authorities. Supported activities typically include building insulation, replacement of windows and doors, modernization of heating and ventilation systems, installation of photovoltaic or solar systems, and other energy‑saving measures. Preparatory work and project management costs may also be eligible.
