This is a low-interest loan provided by the City of Rotterdam to help local energy communities (cooperatives) realize sustainable projects, specifically cooperative solar roofs. The goal is to make Rotterdam's neighborhoods more sustainable and improve the living environment through collective action without a primary focus on profit.

Location: Must be in Rotterdam. Allocated Measure: At least one sustainability measure must be performed. Timeframe: Measures must be executed within 12 months of the assignment letter date. Legal Status: Must be a recognized "Energy Community." Approval Process: You first apply to the Municipality for an "allocation letter" (toewijzingsbrief). Once received, you have 8 weeks to finalize the financial application with SVn. Business Case: Must be able to pay interest and installments (financial health check by SVn). Applicants can apply for the loan up until December 31, 2027. However, applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until the total available budget is exhausted.
