The funding call for photovoltaic systems and electricity storage provides investment grants to support decentralised renewable electricity generation and flexibility. Funding is granted as a non‑repayable subsidy based on installed capacity, calculated per kWp of PV capacity (max 1,000 kWp) and per kWh of battery storage. The support amounts to EUR 120 - 150 per installed kWp, depending on project size and subject to a maximum of 30% of the total investment costs. The scheme supports new grid‑connected PV installations, with additional incentives for combined battery storage to increase self‑consumption and reduce grid stress. Eligible costs generally include the PV modules, inverters, mounting systems, battery systems, and related installation and grid connection works. The call is open to private households, companies, and other eligible legal entities, and is implemented through periodic application windows with fixed budgets.

Applications can be submitted online by private households, companies, and other eligible legal entities during defined application windows and generally before project implementation starts.
