The Austrian funding call for wind power installations provides investment support for small and medium-scale wind energy projects. Funding is granted as a non-repayable investment subsidy, calculated as EUR 600 per installed kW, subject to technology-specific caps and maximum funding limits per project. The scheme supports the construction of new, grid-connected wind turbines, contributing to decentralised renewable electricity generation and diversification of the renewable energy mix. Eligible costs generally include the wind turbine, foundations, grid connection infrastructure, electrical components, and installation works.

Applications can be submitted online by companies and other eligible legal entities during defined application windows and generally before project implementation starts.
