CE OFICINAS supports the establishment of advisory and promotion offices for energy communities in Spain, funded under the PRTR through NextGenerationEU. The first call (2023) funded 81 offices across all 17 autonomous communities. The second call is in public consultation phase as of May 2026 and expected to launch Q4 2026. Grants cover staff costs, operating expenses and technical assistance activities for up to 24 months. Each funded office provides guidance and support to citizens and organisations interested in developing energy communities.

Based on previous calls, applicants must demonstrate organisational capacity to operate an energy community office and submit a work plan. Full requirements will be confirmed under the official call in future BOE.
