SOLARCOOP is a Catalan grant programme managed by ICAEN supporting the installation of collective PV self-consumption systems, including energy community models. Co-financed by FEDER 2021–2027 under the Catalonia OP. Prioritises projects benefiting multiple participants, especially in vulnerable neighbourhoods and social housing. Grants cover up to 70% of eligible investment costs (PV, inverters, storage, installation, grid connection), with a maximum of €600,000 per project.

Applications require a technical project, energy simulation, proof of collective membership structure, proof of building/roof ownership or lease, and standard tax documentation.
