Many communities face challenges in acquiring financing for their projects after the planning stage. The ENERCOM Facility supports communities in overcoming this step in different ways; by strengthening their financial skills through the online capacity-building programme (available to all communities) and the openly accessible database of financing opportunities.

The database provides an overview of EU-wide, national and - in some cases - regional or local funds or financing opportunities available to energy communities, including grants and loan schemes. Communities will be able to search for relevant funds according to the country, funding size, types of activities and technologies supported, co-financing requirements, and more. The database will be updated every six months.
